In the past I would have never even considered trying on a jumpsuit, let alone buying one! But this summer, for some reason I have already purchased 5 jumpsuits and to my surprise the amount of wear I am getting from them is amazing.
A little much?
Okay, before you call me a shopaholic, my wardrobe was overflowing with maternity pants, dresses, tops and nursing bras and this is the first summer I am not pregnant/ breastfeeding/ caring for a newborn since 2011 (!!)
For those wondering how this is even possible, I’ll break it down for you: 2012 summer pregnant (May); gave birth Feb 2013; summer 2013 caring for newborn; summer 2014 pregnant (May); gave birth Feb 2015, summer 2015 caring for newborn; summer 2016 still breastfeeding my baby (don’t judge!).
Change In Style
Also, being a mum now, some of the previous clothes I owned just didn’t cut it vis-a-vis my current lifestyle, like for example certain halter-neck tops/ dresses. I now tend to choose more carefully and look for outfits that look good and are flattering, but are also comfortable and practical, for maximum wear-ability (you know, those clothes you wear the heck out of).

Jumpsuit Obsession
This brings me back to my new love affair with jumpsuits. My favourites are the wide-leg cut type jumpsuits, which are super-flattering on most body types. Plus you can dress them up and down depending on the occasion.
The one I am wearing in the above photo is from a village store in Italy but i have found a few similar wide-leg options, listed below, that are currently available online (until stocks last). For price details, click on the description or photo.
