Our beloved Ira Losco gave birth to her baby boy, during the early hours of her due date, 26th August 2016. Indications are that it was not an easy delivery, but thanks to the professionalism by all staff at Mater Dei it looks like all is well with mummy and baby.
Her other half (and new daddy of baby Harry), professional chef Sean Gravina, wrote a heartfelt message on Facebook professing his awe for Ira and thanking all the staff at Mater Dei.
He writes:
“What an absolute journey from the beginning till the very end of it. Our baby Harry was born last night and Ira is recovering perfectly, she was great.I have something to say about the hospital here, they are abolusyely incredible. Ultimate organisation and extreme timing, Ira’s delivery wasn’t an easy one and they took care of it so amazingly well. I’d like to thank all the doctors and nurses especially Carmen Wareing who took care of Ira with such care and passion, our Anaesthetist, Ira’s gynaecologist Mark Sant who supported her through out her pregnancy and Dr. Samuel our paediatrician who took care of Harry during his first minutes of life. I wish I could remember all the names, thank you all for your love and support. Harry and Ira are both healthy and settled in hospital 👶🏻😘😀🙏🏻🙏🏻”
We send heartfelt congratulations to the new parents. We wish you all health, happiness and a good dose of sleep 😉
